The Hayloft, a former cow byre and hayloft, is superbly situated high up on Eyam Edge in Highcliffe, a small hamlet above the historic village of Eyam, on a south-facing slope looking out over the village.
Recently converted to a high standard throughout, the Hayloft offers luxury 4 Star (Gold) self-catering holiday cottage accommodation for 6 people in 3 bedrooms, all with en-suite shower/WC. There are solid oak cottage doors, and solid oak floors upstairs and slate floors with under-floor heating downstairs.
The bedrooms (1 double with king-size bed, 2 with twin beds) are downstairs. Upstairs, the light and spacious first floor features exposed roof trusses and has a well-equipped kitchen, ample dining space, and living room area complete with wood-burning stove. There is also a separate cloakroom (WC) on the first floor. To the rear, there is a private terraced garden with outdoor furniture, barbecue and log store, and plenty of parking in the farmyard in front.
Highcliffe and Eyam are in the heart of the Peak District National Park, on the boundary between the White Peak and the Dark Peak – a perfect location for visiting Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Castleton and the Peak towns of Tideswell, Bakewell and Buxton. It's a short walk down to the historic plague village of Eyam, and only a mile along the Edge to our excellent local pub, the Barrel Inn at Bretton.
There are lots of activities too, with excellent walking and cycling from the doorstep, and rock climbing on limestone and gritstone close by.

Overdale Cottage is a beautiful 200 year old former lead miner's cottage in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Set in a stunning location tucked away down a cobbled footpath on the side of Bradford Dale in the picturesque village of Youlgrave.A superb and very spacious one bedroom cottage, it is full of character with exposed beams and stonework, original gritstone fireplace with woodburning stove and full gas central heating.There is a spacious and comfortable beamed sitting room with exposed limestone walls, original gritstone fireplace and woodburning stove. There is a comfortable suite, flat screen TV with Freesat digital TV. Complimentary WiFi access.To the rear of the sitting room is the dining area with cast iron radiator and feature spiral staircase which leads to the bedroom and separate bathroom which has a full suite with shower over the bath.Gritstone steps lead from the sitting room to the superb beamed kitchen with exposed limestone wall. Here you will find everything you need for your stay, plenty of crockery and cutlery, pots and pans, oven and hob, fridge with 4-star freezer compartment, microwave, washing machine and combination gas boiler which gives full central heating and constant hot water.You will also find a few basic essentials such as a little tea and coffee, pint of fresh milk, dishcloth, tea towel, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and condiments. The view from the kitchen window makes washing up a pleasure!A stable door opens up to a small courtyard area with steps leading up to the gravelled garden and roof terrace which has incredible views over the dale.There is a patio table and chairs and also a garden bench where you can sit and while away the hours with a glass of wine or cup of tea and when the weather is warm and the and the sun is shining it is the perfect place to be.

Two charming self-catering cottages with spectacular views overlooking Derbyshire Hope Valley and surroundings.
Ash, Birch cottages are tastefully converted, stone-built cottages nestling around Twitchill Farm, an 18th century farmhouse which is now the home of Sarah Atkin.
Ash and Birch Cottages are charming three-storey cottages which each sleep up to 8 people. They each have four separate bedrooms; one twin room and one room with spacious bunk beds, plus two double rooms, ideal for adults or children. Both share a large lawned garden, ideal for barbecues and lawn parties.
The cottages all have fully equipped kitchens and are tasefully decorated and furnished throughout. They share a Utility Room which offers a tumble drier, washing machine, additional freezer space.
The farm has a heated indoor swimming pool We are sorry that dogs and other pets are not permitted at the cottages.

Set in the former grounds of Sandybrook Hall, an elegant early 19th century manor house, Sandybrook Country Park provides delightful views across the surrounding countryside.
The luxury Pinelodges provide attractive and very comfortable self-catering accommodation. Fully insulated, they are cosy in winter yet cool and airy in summer. The lodges are furnished to the highest standard with one, two, three or four bedroom options, sleeping up to eight people. Luxurious Elvaston lodges sleeping 2, are perfect for a romantic weekend, with sauna and whirlpool jet bath. Outdoor hot tubs are available on the verandah of some lodges.
Each lodge has open plan lounge / dining / kitchen including microwave, all utensils, bed linen, duvets and towels. TV, CD and DVD player are installed for your entertainment. Pets are welcome in certain lodges.
Lodges are available for hire on a weekly basis (starting Friday/Saturday/Monday), or for a short break at the weekend (Friday - Monday) or midweek (Monday - Friday). Weekly prices start from £350 per week for a four-berth lodge.
Just a mile north of Ashbourne, the southern gateway to the Peak District, the park is close to many tourist attractions. These include the scenic beauty of Dovedale, Tissington (and the Tissington Trail for a lovely walk into the market town of Ashbourne) Ilam and the exciting Alton Towers.
The Park itself has a lovely woodland walk through a blue bell wood and stunning pinetum of mature specimen trees. The Coach House restaurant and bar provides superb dining facilities. Use of the indoor swimming pool, sauna* and spa* is included in your holiday (* age restrictions apply). Cycles are available to hire to explore the local tracks and trails.
Many activities are available locally including golf, fishing, horse riding and sailing.

Candlelight Cottage is a romantic, oak beamed holiday cottage overlooking the green in the picturesque village of Litton.
Recently renovated and beautifully furnished to a very high standard, our 5 star self catering holiday cottage accommodates up to 4 guests.
The spacious oak beamed sitting room enjoys fine views over Litton village green. Chinese prints adorn the walls and there are soft leather sofas in which to relax.
The feature stone fireplace houses a natural coal effect gas stove lending the room an atmosphere of total comfort and warmth. A 32" flat screen colour TV and DVD recorder are provided along with a radio/CD player, iPod docking station, Wi-Fi and a selection of games, DVD's, maps and tourist information.
The sunny, south facing dining kitchen is fully equipped with ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.The pine shutters, slate tiled floor and AGA stove give this room a feel of real character and warmth making it the ideal place to cook and dine.
Stairs lead up from the kitchen to the bathroom and two bedrooms (sleeps 4).
The double bedroom looks out over the patio garden and fields beyond and has a Victorian style double bed, while the double bedded room looks out over the village green and Litton Edge.
The newly installed bathroom is fully tiled and features a bath, separate shower cubicle, Edwardian style suite and heated towel rail.
A stable door leads from the kitchen out into an enclosed and very private patio style garden. Garden furniture and a BBQ are provided in summer.Stairs lead out of the kitchen down to the utility room, which houses the deep freeze, and other utility items. A tumble drying service is available. Ample space is available here for the storage of luggage and the drying of boots and outdoor clothing.
Litton is a charming village of the 'White' Peak surrounded by fields with walls built in the local limestone. The village has a community-run shop and an excellent pub, the Red Lion, which serves good food. There is excellent walking from the door.

Enjoying wonderful countryside views Rokeby cottage occupies a lovely position on Jaggers Lane in the beautiful Peak District National Park village of Hathersage.
Originally traditional accommodation for a farm worker's family; the cottage has been completely modernised to offer cosy, high quality, very well-equipped accommodation with delightful views and the amenities of the village on the doorstep. The cottage sleeps 2-3 people.
The living room has two sofas and an electric wooder-burner effect stove. The TV/DVD player together with some holiday DVDs are discretely positioned within a cupboard so that they can be kept out of the way if not required.
Pass though a low doorway to the well fitted kitchen with dining area. The kitchen includes all you would need for a self-catering break.
Through french windows to South-West facing patio with outside dining area and small utility room which houses washer and dryer.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a double 'four poster' bed. There is also a single bedroom with south-westerly views. Each bedroom has a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and adequate space for bags to be stored.
Full gas central heating, additional heating from electric woodburner-effect stove in sitting room. Water is heated as it is used from a gas powered combi boiler.
