Welldressing - Tissington

Well dressing is in ancient tradition unique to Derbyshire. Tissington has been celebrating the life giving water from the wells for centuries, possibly since 1349, after the village survived a terrible outbreak of the Black Death. Six wells are dressed in Tissington.
