Situated on a private road, in the hamlet of Holme, near Bakewell, we overlook a 17th century packhorse bridge across the River Wye and are a 6-minute walk from the centre of Bakewell. Attractions such as Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House are within easy reach.

The accommodation consists of:
One spacious, tastefully decorated, south-facing room with comfortable bed and seating. Adjacent is a large bathroom and shower, exclusive to guests. Toiletries and towels are provided, naturally.

Other facilities include hairdryer, hot brush, iron and fan for hot weather. Menus from local eateries (plenty!), books, maps and details of local attractions are provided.

A generous breakfast (vegetarians are catered for) is served in the privacy of your room. The table overlooks the river and garden. Seating is provided outside for guests' use. Drying space for wet outdoor clothing is available. Bikes can be safely stored.

Our visitors have a rear door key to come and go as they please.

The rate for Bed & Breakfast is £27.50 per person per night for double occupancy. We offer a 10% reduction for stays of 3 nights or more. Open from February to October.
