Ye Olde Nags Head is a traditional 17th Century Coaching Inn which has recently undergone a stylish refurbishment and now offers the perfect blend of contemporary and traditional dining.

Ye Olde Nag’s Head is perfectly situated in the outstandingly pretty village of Castleton, widely regarded as the walking and cycling capital of the beautiful Peak District National Park.

Enjoy our acclaimed Chef's seasonal menu, using a delicious combination of organic and local award winning produce and fine wines. Our Chef also takes pride in offering a comprehensive vegetarian menu.

Our cosy bar boasts a large open real fire and offers hand pulled cask ales, fine wines, international bottled beers a wide range of malt whiskies.

All our 10 stunning rooms are en-suite and enjoy colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. For that special occasion we offer rooms with traditional antique four-poster beds and/or Spa Bath en-suites. Rooms on the second floor offer splendid views of the Peak District with some having views of the spectacular Peveril Castle.
