Clematis Cottage, a 300 year old Grade II listed cottage, full of charm and character, lies in the picturesque village of Ashford-in-the-Water, on the River Wye in the heart of the Peak District National Park.

The cottage is cosy and comfortable, across the road from the village shop/delicatessen and the Ashford Arms Pub and with easy access to local restaurants and magnificent walks. It is convenient for all the major tourist attractions of the Peak District:

• Bakewell 2 miles
• Chatsworth 3 miles
• Haddon Hall 2 miles
• Matlock and Buxton 10 miles each

You enter the gate to the small walled front garden, then into the cottage via a hall, which opens onto a spacious lounge with double settee and two armchairs, sofabed, colour TV and video, radio/CD player and books. Off the lounge there is a well-equipped kitchen / diner with eye-level gas cooker, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave and a dining table that seats six people comfortably.

Up the stairs, off a small landing, there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. A travel cot is available on request. There is a bathroom with an electric shower fitted over the bath, plus a toilet and washbasin.
