Our style at Fischer's is quite simply 'Modern European'. Head Chef Rupert Rowley is proud of the wealth of ingredients that are available within Derbyshire featuring local produce on our menus when they are at their prime. This might include Derbyshire Spring Lamb, Wild Cep Mushrooms, Honey from surrounding moorlands, English asparagus, Chatsworth venison, organic Derbyshire Beef and Yorkshire force rhubarb. The Kitchen Garden at Baslow Hall hosts a certain amount of fruit, vegetables and herbs.
Whatever the time of year. the menu features superbly executed classical favourites as well as those dishes designed to appeal to the more adventurous palate.
