Our Grade II listed barn now contains 3 individual self-catering cottages situated in pleasant and peaceful surroundings on a working dairy farm on the outskirts of Bradley village. We offer first class accommodation for the tourist and business person alike. Safe car parking. A welcoming place to relax and explore the wonders of Derbyshire and the Peak District.
Bluebell cottage is located on our working dairy farm and is one of three beautiful holiday cottages which have been lovingly created from the conversion of our Grade II listed barn (which history suggests may have been a wing of the original Yeldersley Old Hall, once home to Lady Catherine Pegge, renown mistress to King Charles II).
Bluebell is our most conveniently situated cottage at Yeldersley Old Hall Farm, with easy access from the parking area. The cottage also benefits from having direct access to the large lawned garden where you can relax reading a book on the patio furniture, watch the children play whilst preparing your BBQ, or just take in your beautiful surroundings, overlooking the local countryside and historical Yeldersley Old Hall (now the farmhouse and B&B).
You may even be greeted by our resident cows who sometimes pop their heads over the fence to say a friendly hello. Ample parking is provided on our car park area adjacent to the cottages.
Bluebell has the most cosy, country cottage feel of all of our cottages at Yeldersley Old Hall Farm with its beamed ceilings, exposed brickwork, quaint layout and warm comfortable furnishings, making this cottage just as enjoyable on a cold winters day as it is in the height of summer when the light floods into the open plan living room and dining area through the large sash windows.
Bluebell cottage offers three star accommodation (Visit Britain rated) for up to 5 people over three bedrooms. The cottage also benefits from a first floor bathroom and an additional downstairs cloakroom. An ideal spot for touring Derbyshire and the Peak District.
