Uppertown Farm is a mid 17th century farmhouse with original farm buildings converted to independent self-catering holiday accommodation near Bakewell in Derbyshire.
It is in a secluded position on the edge of the village of Birchover in the Peak
District National Park and not far from the lovely market town of Bakewell.
We have two holiday cottages available:
The Hayloft is a small apartment for two on the upper floor of a barn. The entrance is up a short external flight of stone steps with a handrail. This might not be suitable for a disabled person.
The accommodation is all on one level, with a compact, well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar.
The kitchen leads through to the spacious sitting/bedroom which has a king-size bed, sofa, TV and DVD.
Original features in this room include an exposed stone wall, rafters and pitched roof.
There is a bathroom with shower, hand-basin and toilet.
