Hartington and Pilsbury

This route goes from Parsley Hey up the High Peak Trail almost to Sparklow, then branches off on minor roads to the quaint hamlet of Pilsley. From there it follows the Dove Valley down to Hartington and returns by gaining the Tissington Trail to come back to Parsley Hey.

Tissington Trail and Parwich

A ride from Parsley Hey along the High Peak Trail to Gotham, then down a minor road to the pretty village of Parwich, returning by minor roads and the Tissington Trail to Parsley Hey.

Hartington and the Tissington Trail

A short cycle ride from Parsley Hey to the pretty village of Hartington and back, taking the Tissington Trail and minor roads.

Parsley Hey to Brassington and back via the Trails

A ride from Parsley Hey along the High Peak Trail to Longcliffe and Harboro Rocks, then down to the pretty village of Brassington, on to Bradbourne and Tissington before returning along the Tissington Trail to Parsley Hey.

Parsley Hey to Gotham and back

A fairly easy circuit from Parsley Hey out along the Tissington Trail and back via the High Peak Trail, with a short linking section.

Hartington to Thorpe and back

This route starts at Hartington and takes the Manifold and Hamps Trail and minor roads to reach Ilam and Thorpe, and returns via the Tissington Trail

Manifold and Hamps Trail from Waterhouses

A cycle ride around the Manifold Valley using the Manifold and Hamps Trail, starting at Waterhouses. This takes trails and minor roads around an area of beautiful limestone scenery.

Carsington Reservoir Circuit

A circuit of Carsington reservoir, on the southern edge of the Peak District. Because this route circumnavigates a reservoir you might imagine it is pretty level, but the eastern leg of the route is actually quite hilly.
