A fairly level cycle route with not too much rough ground going around Derwent, Howden and part of Ladybower Reservoirs. This starts from Fairholmes Information Centre at the head of Ladybower Reservoir. | |||||||||
A mountain bike ride around Win Hill from the village of Hope - taking in Aston, Thornhill, Yorkshire Bridge and Hope Cross. It's fairly easy going to start with and at the end but the middle section is rough and hilly. | |||||||||
A tough circuit around the southern fringes of Kinder Scout and Brown Knoll - high country with rough, sometimes steep tracks. Few riders will manage to cycle all the way without pushing the bike at times. | |||||||||
The circuit goes over Ollersett Moor from Hayfield to Chinley on rough tracks and returns by an equally rough route around South Head. A short route but steep and tough going. | |||||||||
An excursion from Buxton town centre to the Goyt Valley, taking a mixture of roads and rough tracks. A fairly hilly route, but there are no difficult or steep sections. A mountain bike is advisable. | |||||||||
This route starts at Wye Dale at the western end of the Monsal Trail and takes sections of the Pennine Bridleway and other bridlepaths and roads to reach Millers Dale, then returns along the Monsal Trail. | |||||||||

A mountain bike route around the Upper Dove Valley, taking in Longnor, Hollinsclough, Crowdecote and Earl Sterndale. This route takes a mixture of minor roads, tracks and trails and is nowhere very rough. |
