Peak District Attractions and Places to Visit

The Peak District is a treasure trove of different sights and places to visit. There are numerous historic houses, old churches, dams and reservoirs, museums, theme parks and even castles. Natural wonders include caverns, rocky gorges, gritstone edges and fine rivers.

Alton Towers

Alton Towers is probably the leading British Theme Park, with a range of spectacular rides and other attractions, including some beautiful gardens.

Bagshaw Cavern, a cave system in Bradwell, Hope Valley, Derbyshire. A largely natural cave system discovered by lead miners in 1806. Open to the public on summer weekends as a show cave and for Adventure Caving.
