By Road: from Ashbourne or Buxton, Tissington lies just off the A515 road between these towns, about 5 miles north of Ashbourne.

By Bus: the 441 Ashbourne to Hartington bus goes to Tissington.
When is it open?

Open for guided tour only - parties by arrangement. Opening dates 2006: from 17th to 21st April, from Monday 29 May to Friday 2 June, and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday between 25 July and 25 August
