The Hayloft, a former cow byre and hayloft, is superbly situated high up on Eyam Edge in Highcliffe, a small hamlet above the historic village of Eyam, on a south-facing slope looking out over the village. Recently converted to a high standard throughout, the Hayloft offers luxury 4 Star (Gold) self-catering holiday cottage accommodation for 6 people in 3 bedrooms, all with en-suite shower/WC. There are solid oak cottage doors, and solid oak floors upstairs and slate floors with under-floor heating downstairs. The bedrooms (1 double with king-size bed, 2 with twin beds) are downstairs. Upstairs, the light and spacious first floor features exposed roof trusses and has a well-equipped kitchen, ample dining space, and living room area complete with wood-burning stove. There is also a separate cloakroom (WC) on the first floor. To the rear, there is a private terraced garden with outdoor furniture, barbecue and log store, and plenty of parking in the farmyard in front. Highcliffe and Eyam are in the heart of the Peak District National Park, on the boundary between the White Peak and the Dark Peak – a perfect location for visiting Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Castleton and the Peak towns of Tideswell, Bakewell and Buxton. It's a short walk down to the historic plague village of Eyam, and only a mile along the Edge to our excellent local pub, the Barrel Inn at Bretton. There are lots of activities too, with excellent walking and cycling from the doorstep, and rock climbing on limestone and gritstone close by. We look forward to welcoming you to the Hayloft!

Award winning holiday cottage in the heart of The Peak district National Park. Nestling in the conservation village of Hollinsclough, this beautiful barn conversion was renovated by the owners in 2000 and boasts all the charm and character of a stone cottage with all the conveniences of a modern home. The lounge is open to the eaves and there is a wood burning stove for added comfort. The dining kitchen is also open to the eaves and comes fully equipped including a pine table which seats six comfortably. Completing the downstairs is a twin bedroom and a cloakroom/WC. The main bathroom is upstairs next to the double bedroom. Outside there is plenty of off road parking. The pretty garden contains a barbeque and picnic bench which faces the little brook which flows through the garden on its way to joining the nearby River Dove. Hollinsclough is a delightful small village in the Upper Dove valley - there is wonderful scenery all around, and magnificent walking and cycling from the door. Smoke/pet free. This fabulous large, luxury, self-catering, character cottage dates from 1709 and is Grade II listed. Built in mellow sandstone, Hillside Croft, has oak beams in every room, inglenook fireplaces with cosy wood burning stoves .and pretty leaded and mullioned windows add charm to this wonderful cottage. Nestling quietly amidst 6 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and pastureland this cottage is a delight. There is ample, private off road parking. Located in the gardens you have your own private hot tub, chimera and garden furniture to help you to relax and unwind.   Located in the Derbyshire Dales at the edge of the Peak District National Park and just over 1 mile from Carsington Water and central to all the many attractions and activities that Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire have to offer. Close to the historic Market and Spa towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell, Matlock, Wirksworth and Buxton. The area has some amazing scenery and fantastic walks for all abilities.   There are 5 comfortable bedrooms (one is accessed via another), four of which are double and one twin giving sleeping capacity for 10 . Within these rooms are 4 further single beds and 2 single bed chairs giving total sleeping for 14 plus two if required. Hair dryers are provided in all rooms.   We provide 2 travel cots and two high chairs. All bedrooms at this luxury holiday cottage are furnished to a high standard with handmade antique pine furniture and co-ordinated furnishings. The floors are a mix of carpets, oak, tiled and stone floors lending character and warmth. There is one en suite bathroom and a fabulous master bathroom which has both a roll top bath and a walk in shower. There is a 3rd WC on the ground floor.   The lounge is separate to the dining room and both have magnificent oak beamed ceilings and warm log burning stoves. In the lounge are 3 comfortable sofa's for cosy evenings in with friends and family, a TV with teletext, video recorder, DVD player and Ipod dock are provided for your entertainment.There is Wi-Fi and full oil central heating.   The dining room has a large farmhouse table seating 10 to 14 with ease. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with all the creative chef will require. There are antique hand made pine kitchen units with a double French pottery sink set in tiled and marble worktops.   An automatic washer, tumble drier, dishwasher, fridge and fridge freezer, microwave and full electric halogen cooker with double oven are provided as well as many smaller items. The windows overlook the beautiful cottage gardens, with mint, lemon balm, chives, black currents and fruit trees.

Uppertown Farm is a mid 17th century farmhouse with original farm buildings converted to independent self-catering holiday accommodation near Bakewell in Derbyshire. It is in a secluded position on the edge of the village of Birchover in the Peak District National Park and not far from the lovely market town of Bakewell. We have two holiday cottages available: The Byre is a tastefully converted detached barn with accommodation on one level for 4 - 6 people. It has its own large private garden with panoramic views of the countryside. There are 2 double bedrooms, each with ensuite facilities, and a separate area with 2 adult-sized (3') bunk beds. There is a compact, well-equipped kitchen and splendid large dining/living room with original features including open fire, exposed stone walls and pitched roof. The kitchen and dining room have wonderful views of the countryside The Hayloft is a small apartment for two on the upper floor of a barn. The entrance is up a short external flight of stone steps with a handrail. This might not be suitable for a disabled person. The accommodation is all on one level, with a compact, well-equipped kitchen with breakfast bar. The kitchen leads through to the spacious sitting/bedroom which has a double bed, sofa, TV and DVD. Original features in this room include an exposed stone wall, rafters and pitched roof. There is a bathroom with shower, hand-basin and toilet.
