Bank Top Cottage is a comfortable and well equipped holiday cottage n the very heart of the Peak District National Park sleeping up to 4 people (two en-suite bedrooms)
The front door opens into the cosy lounge with comfortable settees, dining area, TV, DVD and games and wi-fi. Through the arched door way is the kitchen, well equipped with ceramic hob and cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine.
There are two bedrooms: a double and a twin both with their own en-suite shower rooms, each with WC and wash basin.
There is an attractive south facing garden area with views over Millers Dale to the Monsal Trail. Garden furniture and barbecue provided. Bikes can be stored (please ask).
Linen and towels central heating, fuel, power and wi-fi are included. A cot, high chair and stair gate can be requested. Ample parking is available at the cottage. Smoking is not permitted. Access for people with disabilities may be difficult (please call if you wish to discuss).
Well behaved pets and children are welcome.
Millers Dale itself is a small tranquil village, surrounded by tree-clad hills, in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales. There is a local village pub, the small church and close access to the Monsal Trail and LImestone Way. Sit and picnic by the River Wye in Cheedale, cycle to Bakewell or Buxton on the Monsal Trail and enjoy many fabulous walks in the area.
Carsington Breach Farm Cottages Farm-based Holiday Cottage accommodation
In the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire Dales and on the edge of the Peak District, Breach Farm stands in fourteen acres and although we are no longer a working farm, sheep graze the fields and our free range hens take the right to roam seriously. We are situated half a mile outside Carsington, a small picturesque village with a pub and a small church. The farm is surrounded by wonderful scenery, with hills to the north and across the fields to the south Carsington Water sparkling in the valley.
It is an ideal location for exploring the Derbyshires many attractions, from the splendour of Chatsworth House and the many National Trust properties in the area to the thrills of Alton Towers. Exploring the local cycle trail - bike hire available for all ages and abilites and even electric bikes. Carsington Water with a variety of water sports to try and Carsington Fishery are less than a mile from the farm.
And of course exploring and walking in the White Peak with its limestone dales and the wide open spaces of the gritstone moors of the Dark Peak.
Damson and Crabtree Cottages have been sympathetically converted from a traditional stone byre, they have both been awarded a 4 Star grading by Visit England. The cottages are central heated, double glazed and are comfortably furnished with a mix of antiques and old pine. Each have their own contained garden, with patio furniture and barbecue.
We live in the main farmhouse, and are there if needed, but try to keep a low profile and not intrude on your holiday. Everything will be clean,warm and welcoming for your arrival and we hope your stay at Breach Farm will be as enjoyable as possible.
The Cottages are available for weekly lets or short breaks

The immediate area includes Dove Stone reservoir with its circular footpath and links to two further reservoirs Greenfield and Yeoman Hey. There are both gentle local walks and much more challenging walks on the nearby segment of the Pennine Way. The Dove Stone Sailing Club makes for a particularly picturesque view when sailing is in progress, often one day at the weekend and one weekday evening. The excellent RSPB reserve also adjoins Dovestone Park. A quiet tree lined private road takes you to the nearby village of Greenfield with shops and pubs. A little further and you are in Uppermill with its many stone buildings, larger range of shops, eateries, museum and the attractive canal with narrowboat trip options. This outstanding, large, luxury 5 star, Derbyshire self- catering cottage is located amidst a peaceful rural setting within 10 acres of private pastureland and landscaped gardens, with beautiful views over the valley and fields. Located less than 2 miles from the historic market town of Ashbourne and a short drive to the interesting market and spa towns of Wirksworth, Matlock, Bakewell and Buxton it is centrally located to explore all the many activities and attractions that Derbyshire and the Peak District have to offer.
Large groups for birthdays, celebrations, hen parties and families are most welcome. There is an option to hire our hot tub and sauna, catering and pampering can also be arranged. For the children we have three adorable donkeys and chickens to feed daily.
Here at Offcote Grange you are now able to have your wedding reception here, using Tipi’s, Yurts and Marquees in our beautiful grounds.
Billy’s Bothy is an exceptional self- catering cottage built of old handmade red bricks and Staffordshire blue roof tiles with an abundance of revealed beams and brick walls throughout. Converted from an old workers bothy it now provides a large luxury cottage with all modern amenities for you to enjoy. Wi fi and LCD tv’s are provided throughout the cottage.
The cottage has 3 ground floor bedrooms, two double and one twin all with en-suite shower rooms. There is an optional 6th en suite annex bedroom next to these which can be hired separately if required. With a mix of underfloor heating, radiators and log fires this cottage is cosy all year around.
On the first floor are two more double bedrooms one with en-suite shower and the other with an en suite bathroom. The bathrooms are beautifully fitted with chrome fixtures and fittings adding a touch of class and luxury. The bedrooms are furnished with handmade old pine furniture, brass and cast iron beds add further character to this beautiful cottage.
The total sleeping capacity of Billy’s Bothy is for 10 or 12 in actual full size beds. The lounge has a double quality bed settee, with private entrance to a shared en-suite bathroom. There are four single bed chairs within the bedrooms giving a total sleeping capacity of 12+4 + 2 travel cots.
The kitchen is furnished with pine units with the luxury of quality granite worktops and a pottery Belfast sink. It has every appliance you would wish for including an electric halogen double oven electric cooker, microwave, slow cooker auto washer, dishwasher, tumble drier, wine cooler and fridge freezer.
The spacious lounge with cosy log burning stove is on the 1st floor and opens out onto a patio with cottage garden and well stocked orchard. Patio furniture and BBQ are provided.

Award winning holiday cottage in the heart of The Peak district National Park.
Nestling in the conservation village of Hollinsclough, this beautiful barn conversion was renovated by the owners in 2000 and boasts all the charm and character of a stone cottage with all the conveniences of a modern home.
The lounge is open to the eaves and there is a wood burning stove for added comfort.
The dining kitchen is also open to the eaves and comes fully equipped including a pine table which seats six comfortably. Completing the downstairs is a twin bedroom and a cloakroom/WC.
The main bathroom is upstairs next to the double bedroom.
Outside there is plenty of off road parking. The pretty garden contains a barbeque and picnic bench which faces the little brook which flows through the garden on its way to joining the nearby River Dove.
Hollinsclough is a delightful small village in the Upper Dove valley - there is wonderful scenery all around, and magnificent walking and cycling from the door.
Smoke/pet free. Sleeps up to four in a double room and a twin room. Travel cot available.
Lettings are Saturday to Saturday from £295 per week including fuel and linen.
