You have reached the end of the tarmac!Holly Meadow Farm is a 260 acre working farm set in rural Derbyshire Dales a short distance from Ashbourne, Dove Dale and the Peak District National Park. For lovers of stately homes, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Kedleston Hall and other National Trust properties are within easy reach by car.Our spacious B&B double rooms have far reaching views and en-suite facilities. Period furniture, polished wooden floors and snug rugs, thick fluffy towels, digital TV, radio alarm, hairdryer, comprehensive beverage tray with homemade biscuits, room refrigerator and wi-fi are provided for your comfort. Ironing facilities are available.You will be served a delicious award winning farmhouse breakfast, freshly prepared on the Aga from top quality home grown and locally sourced produce. The breakfast includes seasonal fruit compotes, yoghurt and cereals, traditional full English accompanied by Derbyshire oatcakes and homemade preserves. You can choose a lighter option if you wish.We have created gentle walks of different lengths around the farm. If you want to stretch your legs a little further, you can leave your car here and explore the network of paths in the region. The Tissington and High Peak trails are close by too. If needed, we can dry out your boots and outdoor clothing! Enjoying wonderful countryside views Rokeby cottage occupies a lovely position on Jaggers Lane in the beautiful Peak District National Park village of Hathersage.
Originally traditional accommodation for a farm worker's family; the cottage has been completely modernised to offer cosy, high quality, very well-equipped accommodation with delightful views and the amenities of the village on the doorstep. The cottage sleeps 2-3 people.
The living room has two sofas and an electric wooder-burner effect stove. The TV/DVD player together with some holiday DVDs are discretely positioned within a cupboard so that they can be kept out of the way if not required.
Pass though a low doorway to the well fitted kitchen with dining area. The kitchen includes all you would need for a self-catering break.
Through french windows to South-West facing patio with outside dining area and small utility room which houses washer and dryer.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a double 'four poster' bed. There is also a single bedroom with south-westerly views. Each bedroom has a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and adequate space for bags to be stored.
Full gas central heating, additional heating from electric woodburner-effect stove in sitting room. Water is heated as it is used from a gas powered combi boiler.
Electric cooker, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer in outside utility room (converted from outside toilet).
Colour TV (including Freeview) with DVD and stereo CD player.

Carsington Breach Farm Cottages Farm-based Holiday Cottage accommodation
In the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire Dales and on the edge of the Peak District, Breach Farm stands in fourteen acres and although we are no longer a working farm, sheep graze the fields and our free range hens take the right to roam seriously. We are situated half a mile outside Carsington, a small picturesque village with a pub and a small church. The farm is surrounded by wonderful scenery, with hills to the north and across the fields to the south Carsington Water sparkling in the valley.
It is an ideal location for exploring the Derbyshires many attractions, from the splendour of Chatsworth House and the many National Trust properties in the area to the thrills of Alton Towers. Exploring the local cycle trail - bike hire available for all ages and abilites and even electric bikes. Carsington Water with a variety of water sports to try and Carsington Fishery are less than a mile from the farm.
And of course exploring and walking in the White Peak with its limestone dales and the wide open spaces of the gritstone moors of the Dark Peak.
Damson and Crabtree Cottages have been sympathetically converted from a traditional stone byre, they have both been awarded a 4 Star grading by Visit England. The cottages are central heated, double glazed and are comfortably furnished with a mix of antiques and old pine. Each have their own contained garden, with patio furniture and barbecue.
We live in the main farmhouse, and are there if needed, but try to keep a low profile and not intrude on your holiday. Everything will be clean,warm and welcoming for your arrival and we hope your stay at Breach Farm will be as enjoyable as possible.
The Cottages are available for weekly lets or short breaks

Two charming self-catering cottages with spectacular views overlooking Derbyshire Hope Valley and surroundings.
Ash, Birch cottages are tastefully converted, stone-built cottages nestling around Twitchill Farm, an 18th century farmhouse which is now the home of Sarah Atkin.
Ash and Birch Cottages are charming three-storey cottages which each sleep up to 8 people. They each have four separate bedrooms; one twin room and one room with spacious bunk beds, plus two double rooms, ideal for adults or children. Both share a large lawned garden, ideal for barbecues and lawn parties.
The cottages all have fully equipped kitchens and are tasefully decorated and furnished throughout. They share a Utility Room which offers a tumble drier, washing machine, additional freezer space.
The farm has a heated indoor swimming pool We are sorry that dogs and other pets are not permitted at the cottages.

Audrey's is a spacious detached property with all accommodation on the ground floor. It is situated less than a mile north of the spa town of Buxton in the heart of the beautiful Peak District. It sits within its own private gardens and has open views towards Buxton and over farmland at Barms Farm. Centrally located, not remote, ideal for visiting Derbyshire's attractions, yet only a short drive away from Buxton's Opera House and it's shopping facilities, restaurants and pubs.
Audrey's at Barms Farm offers a quality experience, appreciated by those who require spacious accommodation of a high standard, where quality fixtures and fittings have been positioned with thought and consideration for the users and where there has been much attention to detail in a quest to strive for guest comfort and satisfaction.
Off the bright and airy oak floored entrance hall are two double bedrooms with five feet wide beds, ceiling mounted fans and spacious en-suite facilities of exceptional quality. Both en-suites have deep baths, large shower cubicles, vanity units with deep basins and useful storage, underfloor heating and large towel warmers.
The south facing spacious lounge with natural stone fireplace with gas fired living flame fire and 40" flatscreen TV (dvd & video) is a pleasant room for relaxation.
The well-equipped kitchen/diner has a breakfast bar plus a dining area with table and chairs for four, underfloor heating & Neff appliances. A washing machine is accommodated in the adjacent utility room which leads to the cloakroom, external rear patio area and to the integral spacious drying and storage area suitable for bikes, walking boots and equipment. Free wi-fi internet with excellent signal throughout.
Audrey's is available to a maximum of four non smoking adults. Animals are strictly not permitted and the property does not cater for children
