Our rooms have been thoughtfully renovated to a high standard to create as much comfort as possible, including a small fridge and wine glasses should you wish to 'bring a bottle' to relax and enjoy a glass of wine in your room.
Two Dales is perfectly situated for exploring the outstanding countryside of Derbyshire and visiting some of the famous houses and gardens in the area. These include Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.
There are many good restaurants and pubs some within walking distance or a short drive away from Chesterfield House. Many of which we do have listed.
We are within easy reach of Bakewell [famous for its puddings] and the Spa towns of Buxton and Matlock. You may even like to enjoy an evening at the Buxton Opera House.
There is variety for everyone. A family day out could include a trip to the steam railway which is a short walk from Two Dales. Gulliver's Kingdom,
Heights of Abraham and Crich Tramway Museum are all a short drive away. We are half an hours drive from the M1 and Derby , Nottingham and Sheffield are all within a reasonable distance.
Derbyshire is a haven for walkers so anyone intending to bring their hiking boots will certainly not be disappointed. There are hundreds of miles of amazing countryside to be explored and enjoyed and we have several books on planned routes, which we are more than happy to lend to our guests.
After a good nights sleep, you will be served a continental or hearty full English breakfast to set you up for the day. We also offer a lighter breakfast if preferred. We do try to cater for all special dietary requirements. [notice of these would be appreciated upon booking]. All our produce is locally sourced. We usually serve breakfast between 8.00 and 9.30a.m. however we try to be flexible to our guests arrangements and timetables.
Whether you are in the area on business. Fly fishing at Chatsworth, on a walking holiday, a family trip or a wedding weekend. Or, just wanting a few days away from the 'hustle and bustle' of life. Vil and Claudia look forward to seeing you.
Carsington Breach Farm Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast accommodation
In the heart of the Derbyshire Dales and on the edge of the Peak District, Breach Farm is a 200 year old farmhouse situated in beautiful countryside with southerly views over the fields to Carsington Water. We are situated half a mile outside Carsington, a small picturesque village with a pub and church.
The farmhouse B&B has its own separate guests entrance, comfortable sitting room with log fire, colour television, DVD and a selection of books, games and magazines. Wi-Fi is also available. French doors open onto your own garden and patio.
Enjoy a hearty English breakfast which is served in your sitting room. Locally produced bacon and sausage, Derbyshire oatcakes, homemade bread and eggs from our own free range hens. As well as a selection of fresh fruit, cereals and yogurts. Special diets can be catered for, but please advise on booking.
In the area we have a selection of good pubs and restaurants for evening meals, or both Matlock and Ashbourne are within 7 miles if you would like more choice.
We have two individually furnished bedrooms. Upstairs a Double with King sized brass bed, and downstairs a Twin room. Both rooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers. The bedrooms have radio/alarm clocks, hairdryers, a selection of magazines, Wi-Fi access and refreshment making facilities.
We are in a ideal location for exploring Derbyshires many attractions, from the splendour of Chatsworth House and the many National Trust properties in the area to riding the trams at Crich Tramway Museum. Discovering the many walks in the White Peak with its limestone dales or the wide open spaces of the gritstone moors of the Dark Peak. Cycling on the High Peak Trail, fishing or birdwatching at Carsington Water, or just having a exploring in the historic market towns of Ashbourne , Bakewell or Buxton.
We are no longer a working farm but sheep graze our fields and our free-range hens do like to explore. Our aim is to make our guests visit as comfortable as possible, and to help them enjoy their stay at Breach Farm and the surrounding area.
Bakewell Tannery House Self-catering Holiday Cottage accommodation
Located right in the middle of this bustling Derbyshire market town, Tannery House and its Garden Wing are amazingly quiet and peaceful, being situated in a secluded backwater. The private garden is complete with a small solar heated swimming pool, an original Bakewell well and many quiet corners in which to relax.
'An oasis of peace..' is the comment made by many new and returning guests.
The Garden Wing has full central heating, three en-suite bedrooms, living room, fully fitted kitchen, utility room (with washing and ironing facility) and an entrance hall, which can be made into a dining room if more space is required in the living room.
There are three beautiful bedrooms each with bath or shower rooms and french windows opening directly into the garden. All rooms have television, radio, hair dryer and a telephone.
The living room is furnished with comfortable seating, dining table and chairs and a television. The kitchen, which opens off the living room, is fitted with dishwasher, cooker, microwave, fridge and a small freezer. A small utility room (off the kitchen) has washing and ironing facilities.
Tariff: The accommodation will be let to only one couple/party at any one period.Our charging policy is based upon the number of bedrooms used during the period of let.

Darley Moor, Matlock The Old Farmhouse Farm-based Holiday Cottage accommodation
Set in the Derbyshire Dales on the edge of the Peak District National Park, Woodside Farm, Nr Matlock, was once a dairy farm is now run as a smallholding, standing in five acres with free-range chickens and sheep graze in the surrounding fields. The farm and holiday cottage occupy a super rural position with fantastic views over the Derwent Valley and surrounding countryside. We are ideally situated for exploring the Peak District and the areas many attractions, with Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell and of course Matlock and Matlock Bath close by.
The farmhouse sleeps 4-5 people and the accommodation is as follows:
Lounge: Log burning stove,sofa bed and chairs, freeview colour television, video and DVD/CD player.Kitchen /Dining room: Table and chairs, oak beams, electric cooker and hob, refridgerator, microwave and washing machine.Shower Room: With wash basin and toilet.Drying room :With tumble dryer.Entrance hall: For storage of bikes etc.
Bedroom 1: One double bed with cot or Z-bed if required.Bedroom 2: Two single beds.Wash room: Wash basin and toilet.
Linen: Each of the beds are fitted with quilts and pillows. All bed linen is included plus towels and tea towels.Electricity:Included in the tariff.Cot and high chair: Provided on request.Outside: A small walled garden to the front and to the back a lawned area, patio table & chairs and portable barbecue are provided + new childrens play area with climbing frame. Washing line and pegs provided.Parking: For two cars directly outside the cottage.

We are situated half a mile outside Carsington, a small picturesque village with a pub and a small church. The farm is surrounded by wonderful scenery, with hills to the north and across the fields to the south Carsington Water sparkling in the valley.
It is an ideal location for exploring the Derbyshires many attractions, from the splendour of Chatsworth House and the many National Trust properties in the area to the thrills of Alton Towers. Exploring the local cycle trail - bike hire available for all ages and abilites and even electric bikes. Carsington Water with a variety of water sports to try and Carsington Fishery are less than a mile from the farm.
And of course exploring and walking in the White Peak with its limestone dales and the wide open spaces of the gritstone moors of the Dark Peak.
Damson and Crabtree Cottages have been sympathetically converted from a traditional stone byre, they have both been awarded a 4 Star grading by Visit England. The cottages are central heated, double glazed and are comfortably furnished with a mix of antiques and old pine. Each have their own contained garden, with patio furniture and barbecue.
We live in the main farmhouse, and are there if needed, but try to keep a low profile and not intrude on your holiday. Everything will be clean,warm and welcoming for your arrival and we hope your stay at Breach Farm will be as enjoyable as possible.
The Cottages are available for weekly lets or short breaks
For the comfort of all our guests, all the properties are totally non-smoking and we regret that pets are not allowed.
Buxton Audreys at Barms Farm Farm-based Holiday Cottage accommodation
Audrey's is a spacious detached property with all accommodation on the ground floor. It is situated less than a mile north of the spa town of Buxton in the heart of the beautiful Peak District. It sits within its own private gardens and has open views towards Buxton and over farmland at Barms Farm. Centrally located, not remote, ideal for visiting Derbyshire's attractions, yet only a short drive away from Buxton's Opera House and it's shopping facilities, restaurants and pubs.
Audrey's at Barms Farm offers a quality experience, appreciated by those who require spacious accommodation of a high standard, where quality fixtures and fittings have been positioned with thought and consideration for the users and where there has been much attention to detail in a quest to strive for guest comfort and satisfaction.
Off the bright and airy oak floored entrance hall are two double bedrooms with five feet wide beds, ceiling mounted fans and spacious en-suite facilities of exceptional quality. Both en-suites have deep baths, large shower cubicles, vanity units with deep basins and useful storage, underfloor heating and large towel warmers.
The south facing spacious lounge with natural stone fireplace with gas fired living flame fire and 40" flatscreen TV (dvd & video) is a pleasant room for relaxation.
The well-equipped kitchen/diner has a breakfast bar plus a dining area with table and chairs for four, underfloor heating & Neff appliances. A washing machine is accommodated in the adjacent utility room which leads to the cloakroom, external rear patio area and to the integral spacious drying and storage area suitable for bikes, walking boots and equipment. Free wi-fi internet with excellent signal throughout.
Audrey's is available to a maximum of four non smoking adults. Animals are strictly not permitted and the property does not cater for children
